One very cool organizational trick I’ve been using is incorporating old wire milk crates into catch all’s for things like towels, shoes, etc. Below are a couple of examples.
They are very sturdy and act very much like a basket, except that their contents need to be larger then the spaces between the wire. I have several more and some of my thoughts are to make a tower of them for the boys to put their boots and shoes in, eliminating the clutter at the front door, and me invariably tripping over it. Or, using them to hold hats, gloves, mittens and cold weather items.
